Degree of difficulty
Moderate
En mestadels lättvandrad etapp på fina skogsstigar som så småningom leder dig till den tidigare bruksorten Jonsered.
From Kåsjön the trail goes in the north-easterly direction and soon reaches Lake Madern. There is a smaller shelter, which is suitable for both breaks and overnight stays. In the same place, the Vildmarksleden and Gotaleden divide. Gotaleden soon passes a small pond in the forest, with a small rest area, and then continues through old natural forest, crossing E20 and continuing to Jonsered. Jonsered is a former mill with a number of nice and well-preserved industrial buildings along Säveån. Here you can stay overnight at Hotel LeMat, which offers Bed & Breakfast. Around the corner of Jonsered's factories you will find the Poppels micro brewery where you can eat and get a tour of the brewery.
The stage goes mainly to forest paths and is mostly easy to walk.
Length: 8 km
Time: 2-3 hours excluding breaks
Difficulty: Easy to moderate.
Don't miss: A stop at Lake Maderna or the small pond at Råhult. Marvel at the large rocks that lie alone in the middle of the forest about two-thirds into the stage. Cultural history at Jonsered's old factories
